So, you think you can’t write? FALSE! I’m here to show you that not only can you write, but you can also write beautifully! Writing is an incredibly transformative tool for healing. Oral tradition and storytelling have been around since humans could communicate, but we also developed writing systems and art as other means of self-expression. What writing provides is a chance for personal exploration. In this course, you will learn to find meaning and expression with written words using prompts through the Tarot. Why Tarot? Simple. The Tarot is a wonderful method to navigate through life, because we get to see ourselves reflected in each of the cards. Utilizing imagery from the Tarot to spark creativity, we will respond to prompts and let our creative juices flow! I will guide you every step of the way and provide a support system to help you nurture your writing. We will also have guided meditations and Tarot card pulls for each session. I will walk you through healing writing wounds and decluttering old stories into personal journey-worthy anthems that will have you dancing to Eye of the Tiger in a workout montage style! The goal by the end of the course is to produce a short story. Sign up now to begin! Who am I? I'm an English and Writing instructor with over seven years of teaching experience at the college level. I am also a Tarot and Oracle Card Reader and started in high school.
